This notice gives data subjects the information required to understand how and why Net and Tel Business Solutions processes personal information. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

2. Data subjects and categories
Data subjects may include website visitors, prospective and current clients, client personnel and users, suppliers, partners, job applicants and other business contacts. Information may include identification and contact details, organisation and role, financial and transaction records, communications, project and support records, device and network identifiers, security logs, service usage and any information voluntarily provided to us.
3. Purpose and consequences
We collect information to verify identity, assess requirements, quote and contract, deliver and support ICT services, procure and administer licences or equipment, invoice and collect payment, manage suppliers, secure systems, maintain records and comply with law. Information marked as required is generally necessary to provide the requested service. If it is not supplied, we may be unable to quote, contract, provision, support or meet a legal duty.
4. Source of information
We normally collect information directly from you or your organisation. We may also receive it from authorised representatives, technology partners, distributors, public records, referral sources, security tools, service platforms or systems we manage for a client.
5. Lawful processing and minimality
We process information only where adequate, relevant and not excessive for a lawful purpose. Grounds may include consent, contractual necessity, legal obligation, protection of a legitimate interest or another basis recognised by POPIA. Special personal information and children’s information will be processed only where POPIA permits and suitable safeguards apply.
6. Recipients, operators and transfers
Recipients may include staff, contracted operators, advisers, distributors, OEMs, cloud and licensing providers, payment or accounting providers, connectivity providers, couriers, subcontractors and public authorities. Where an operator processes information for us, appropriate confidentiality and security duties apply. Cross-border processing occurs only where permitted by POPIA and supported by adequate protection, agreement, consent or another lawful basis.
7. Quality, openness, retention and security
We take reasonable steps to keep information complete, accurate and updated; provide transparent notices; retain records only as required; and protect confidentiality, integrity and availability. Safeguards are reviewed against foreseeable risks and may include access restriction, authentication, encryption where appropriate, backups, monitoring, endpoint protection, supplier controls and incident procedures.
8. Security compromises
If we reasonably believe personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person, we will investigate, contain and address the incident and notify the Information Regulator and affected data subjects where POPIA requires, subject to any lawful delay.
9. Data-subject rights
Subject to POPIA and PAIA procedures, you may request confirmation and access; ask for correction, deletion or destruction; object to processing on reasonable grounds; object to direct marketing; withdraw consent; and complain to the Information Regulator. Automated decisions with legal or substantial effects will not be made solely from automated processing unless legally permitted with appropriate safeguards.
10. Requests and complaints
Send requests to admin@netandtel.com. We may ask for proof of identity and sufficient detail. Complaints may also be submitted to the Information Regulator through its official website or complaints channels. Nothing in this notice limits rights granted by law.
