This Code sets the standards expected of Net and Tel Business Solutions directors, employees, contractors and representatives. We also expect suppliers and delivery partners to uphold equivalent standards when working with us.
1. Integrity and lawful conduct
We act honestly, keep accurate records, honour legitimate commitments and comply with applicable South African laws, client requirements and professional duties. We do not misrepresent qualifications, partnerships, product capabilities, delivery status or commercial information.
2. Clients and service quality
We seek to understand requirements, recommend suitable solutions, communicate material risks and deliver with reasonable care, skill and diligence. Quotes, project updates, incidents and limitations must be communicated clearly. Complaints are handled respectfully, promptly and without retaliation.
3. Anti-bribery, gifts and conflicts
Bribery, kickbacks, facilitation payments, tender manipulation and fraud are prohibited. Gifts or hospitality must be lawful, modest, infrequent and never intended to influence a decision. Actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest must be disclosed and appropriately managed.
4. Fair competition and procurement
We compete on merit, protect confidential bid information and do not collude on pricing, customers, suppliers or tenders. Procurement decisions should consider capability, quality, security, value, compliance and transformation objectives, without improper favouritism.
5. Privacy, confidentiality and cybersecurity
Personal, client and partner information is accessed only for authorised business purposes and handled in line with POPIA, contracts and security procedures. Credentials must not be shared improperly. Suspected phishing, data loss, unauthorised access or other incidents must be reported immediately and evidence preserved.
6. Respect, inclusion and safety
We maintain a workplace and project environment free from harassment, discrimination, intimidation and violence. People are treated with dignity regardless of race, gender, sex, pregnancy, marital status, ethnic or social origin, colour, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, belief, culture, language or other protected status. Safety rules, site requirements and lawful instructions must be followed.
7. Company and client resources
Equipment, systems, licences, funds, time and information must be used responsibly and for authorised purposes. Theft, misuse, unauthorised copying, circumvention of licences and deliberate damage are prohibited. Records must be complete, accurate, retained appropriately and never falsified or destroyed to conceal misconduct.
8. Suppliers and human rights
We expect lawful labour practices, safe working conditions, environmental responsibility and respect for human rights. Forced labour, child labour, exploitation and unlawful discrimination are unacceptable. Subcontractors must be competent, properly authorised and appropriately supervised.
9. Speaking up and non-retaliation
Concerns should be reported to management or admin@netandtel.com. Reports may concern fraud, corruption, privacy, security, safety, harassment, conflicts or any breach of this Code. Good-faith reporters must not be retaliated against. Reports will be assessed fairly and confidentially as far as reasonably possible.
10. Accountability
Breaches may lead to corrective action, removal from a project, termination of a supplier or employment relationship, recovery of loss, or referral to regulators or law-enforcement authorities. Everyone covered by this Code is responsible for understanding it, seeking guidance when uncertain and cooperating with lawful investigations.
